Allergy Skin Testing
Under the supervision of our board-certified physicians, you can be tested for a variety of allergies by pricking the skin with small amounts of different allergens along a grid on your arm or back. Fifteen minutes later, we check to see which allergens you have reacted to. We typically test to a panel of 72 allergens, including animal dander, molds, and plant pollens that are relevant in North Texas.
Sinus CT scan
Done in the office with a state-of-the-art imaging machine (Mini-CAT) provides our physicians with an instantaneous tool to help diagnose sinus problems. Our Mini-CAT CT scanner takes only 40 seconds (20 seconds for children) to perform and has a significantly lower radiation dose than full-body scanners. With this new CT scanner, the patient sits comfortably upright in an open design, minimizing claustrophobia. A high resolution, digitally versatile CT image is then immediately available on our computer monitor.
